There is a long thin stretch of land seperating Lake Erie that goes under the Peace Bridge where the water is extremeley fast so they built boat locks to allow boats that didn't want to or couldn't travel this stretch of water. This stretch of rocks and concrete on top is a favorite place for birds. So it is called Bird Island. It is a great hike but not very wide, still some ride their bikes.

@KlipschHead281 if you remove the mattress, you should see the hatch. I don't think they would've made them on some and not others. You can access it through the back where you open it to check the oil. There's a rubber piece at the top riveted, but there's a good chance someone has already accessed it from there. I think that's harder to access it so I'd rather remove the mattress.

I'm going to check in once and awhile for when they start doing tours again. There is a RUclips video where the Ch 4 weather guy did a tour. It was interesting to watch.

I grew up in the Town of Niagara, where my neighbor was a boiler operator there. He learned that trade in the Navy. He took me there at times when he was on the midnight shift. He showed me how to operate the huge payloader loading the coal for the boilers. And reading the charts. I was 14, 15 years old. Hopefully, they will clean it up as it would be a good area to live. The best thing this area got was WNY Urology.

Sadly, the police both Town of Lewiston & Sheriff's, along with Pekin Fire Dept, don't push the DOT to do anything to correct this.

A deputy arrived at :27 in a marked Sheriff's SUV with flashing emergency lights from the left and is visible walking around and talking to people throughout the entire video.

I believe it was a Town of lewiston officer by looking at the side of the car, the insignia isn't red. But normally, it is a Sheriff's deputy that arrives first. Townline road on the east side is Cambria, who uses tge Sheriff's and on the west side is Town of Lewiston, who has their own police force, but the Sheriff's do patrol the Town. The guy directing traffic did a fine job. Neighbors respond immediately, giving physical help along with calling 911. I've lived here 24 years, and accidents are sometimes weekly occurrences. A few weeks back, an accident happened that needed Mercy Flight. 2 or 3 AM. My videos on the drone are split into two 15 minute recordings. I landed my drone after second recorded stopped and fire and rescue hadn't arrived. Pekin fire hall just activated their siren when my drone landed. Within a few minutes a rescue truck arrived. I will say it took over 30 minutes before a fire truck arrived on scene. Pekin is am all volunteer fire and rescue. Also my neighbor who is with the Airbase Fire went to access the scene. Someone might have informed rescue there were no injuries?

We have been trying for years. More people need to write letters to NYS DOT Another issue that could help would be to lower the speed limit to 45 mph from Ridge rd all the way to rte 31. It is 55 mph coming up the hill and then drops to 45mph. As everyone knows, people do at least 10 mph over. Lower mnt rd east to west at this location isn't straight across. It angles to the right on the west side. Drivers don't see vehicles coming up the hill until the last minute. It is a blind spot.

@@PlasmArtFabricatingIt sounds like they don't want the expense of installing a light. Have they tried illuminated stop signs at least? They could have a warning further up the road saying there's a stop sign ahead. It's so sad that people have to suffer like that. Wishing you luck that something can be done.

Today, with solar, there would be no need to hook up electricity to a pole. NYS DOT raised stop signs higher and wrapped poles with reflective yellow plastic. 90% of accidents happen during the daytime. Every time the DOT does a traffic study, it's at the top of Pekin hill.. At times this part of Townline road looks like the 290. Drivers do 65-75 mph on this stretch to get up to the top of Pekin hill where it goes back to two lanes. Modern disposal trucks fly up the hill neck in neck to passenger vehicles. Town of tonawanda garbage trucks have crashed and spun out on Town roads going so fast. There are 26 Town police but the majority are in the village patrolling. Our Town supervisor lives in the village as do 3/4 of the board.

You can't fix stupid. This intersection has been like this for over 47years.. The only thing that has changed are the cars and the people that drive them. Im not an expert, something needs to be changed. a light isn't the answer though, it will probably only make it worse.

@ncsd98, a normal light would be a bad idea except what is being talked about is flashing yellow north to south and flashing red east to west. The other fix would be to lower the speed limit from 55 mph to 45 mph from Ridge Road to Saunders Settlement Road. If the DOT did a traffic study between Lower Mnt to the top of Pekin Hill, they would see that people fly up the Hill and then lower their speed when they reach where it goes to two lanes. There is a reason the DOT never does a study at this location only at the top of Pekin Hill. If people are blowing those tall stop signs, then they aren't working! Just because it's been this way doesn't make it okay. My neighbor wrote an essay for school about this problem before I moved into my house in 1999. There aren't enough people living in this area to change anything. Except if all those involved in these accidents called and wrote to their representatives in NY, it could change.

Yes, after I removed both filters, I realized one was a fuel filter. I'd have to watch my video again, but I thought I mentioned that. Under the coach or underneath the engine is the fuel/water separator filter. I did a video on that.

@@PlasmArtFabricating Curious, do you still have the Breeze? How has it been as far as problems go? There is a lot of conflicting opinions about the Maxxforce 7 engine and the EGR system. BTW, I purchased a 2011 Tiffin Allegro Breeze with 55,000 miles in January 2024. I still haven't drove it. It's just parked in the backyard while I have been performing all of the maintenance on it.

I still own the 2012 Tiffen Breeze 32br. I love it! I believe it wasn't until late 2013 when issues began happening and after Tiffen had to begin installing pollution devices on the engine. I pull an aluminum 18' trailer with a Fiat 500X on it and two electric bikes. I also have a spare 30-pound propane tank and two large containers with barbeque equipment, etc, in them. I've driven up I-17 through Flagstaff, not missing a beat. Driven through hills of Tennessee and the Virginia's. No issues at all. The only thing that happened was during covid, and I stored it covered, but windows and roof vents opened only to see both captain chairs begin losing the thin leather on them along with the curved sofa. I heard Tiffen knew about this and gave original owners replacements. I contacted them but will only sell replacements. I'm looking at selling and taking the cost for replacement off the price. I replaced all exterior lights with LED except headlights. Mine didn't have front turn signals except on the mirrors. I hooked the running lights up to signal turns. The wire is already there. Maybe who wired them back in the factory just forgot? You'll love it!

@@PlasmArtFabricating The previous owners of mine, an elderly couple, were good about bringing it in for servicing and taking care of any recalls. They had all of the leather replaced because of the known issue you spoke of. Then they put fabric covers over the new leather for the duration of their ownership. So I basically have untouched leather on the 2 captain seats, dinette area and the love seat across from there. I'm considering ripping out that 2 seater couch and making it a workshop table area that can store tools as well. I won't need that much seating, but will need my tools and a work surface. It's good to know that it's been good to you. I can't wait to start traveling. Hopefully this summer. In the meantime, I'm just planning on things I'll need and maintaining the coach. I decided I wanted a spare tire. Little did I know at the time it was going to be a thousand dollar project including the rim, tire, torque multiplier for cracking those lug nuts, 12 ton jack with a special saddle, 6 ton jack stands and base plates for uneven ground, and all of the hitch mounting gear for the spare. I didn't want to have to rely on roadside assistance. The tires that are on it are in great condition, but they are 2016's. I have purchased a TPMS and wheel covers and have sprayed them with the 303 UV protectant and will keep a close eye on them until I'm ready to drop $3,000 - $4,000 on six new tires. It's been fun to work on and everything seems to operate as it should. I was told by the previous owners that it just needed some TLC and that was exactly the case.

Another tip. You might want a TSD fuel card. It can save you 40-50 cents off gallon diesel. Flying J and one other doesn't except it only Good Sam card. Good Sam might save you 10 cents off a gallon. I think it's a good deal.

For the air brakes, no I haven't. I am told that there are instructions inside the box when you purchase dryer. Just make sure you have drained all of the air out. And purchase a IRWIN VISE-GRIP Original Chain Clamp, Locking, 9-Inch (27ZR). You can buy it on amazon for $28.35 right now, normally $45.30 Most are spin-on filters, spin-off. He made it out. I'm not sure if he's alive today. I went by his place a few years ago in 2021, and the neighborhood is doing well with quite a few new homes. Of course, like his, they are built off the ground. Many are very expensive homes, so people feel pretty confident that won't happen again. At least not the levies giving out.

If they're only bent, you might insert a small flat screwdriver in pushing them back to form. They only push on card to keep it aligned as card goes in. Then start using a card I show. If you can get that card in and it snaps in, then insert micro card into it. If it works, you'll never need to remove the larger card, only the micro card. Good luck
